As Part of its Strategic Plan, Caesarstone Announces Closure of Richmond Hill Manufacturing Facility.
In a press release shared Wednesday, December 13, 2023, Caesarstone announced that effective mid-January 2024, the Company’s restructuring plan would entail closing the facility in Richmond Hill, thus contributing savings of approximately $20 million annually by optimizing its manufacturing footprint.
“As a valued member of our business community, Caesarstone’s business decision to close its facility in Richmond Hill due to the need to optimize its global manufacturing footprint is disappointing news for us here in Bryan County, says Development Authority of Bryan County Chairman, Jon Seagraves, and Richmond Hill Mayor, Russ Carpenter, in a joint statement released today.

“Companies sometimes have to make difficult decisions, and we will miss having them as part of our business community.
