What is the purpose / mission of the DABC?

To recruit industry to Bryan County to create jobs and investments in the community and to partner with industry after they locate to help ensure they are successful.

Does the DABC work to bring housing, commercial, and/or retail development?

No, the DABC does not recruit commercial or retail development and is not involved in housing development.

Who makes up the current Board of Directors and how are the chosen?

Nine individuals appointed by the Bryan County Commissioners make up the board of directors. The people appointed to the DABC board are community leaders and represent a variety of sector backgrounds, including banking, electric utility, small business, and higher education, among others.
