Housing

Bryan County offers ample existing housing options with everything from affordable worker housing in planned subdivisions in the city and larger homesites in a more rural setting to multi-million dollar homes in the exclusive Ford Plantation or on the coast.

Bryan County consists of two cities and several smaller communities.  Pembroke, the county seat, is located on the north end of the county while Richmond Hill is at the south end of the county.  The community of Ellabell/Black Creek is located near the center of the county.  Interstate 16 is only 11 miles from Pembroke.  This gives quick, easy access for traveling west to Macon and then north on Interstate 75 to Atlanta or east to Savannah.  Interstate 95, going north and south, is only 25 minutes from Pembroke and runs within the city limits of Richmond Hill.  Richmond Hill is a short drive from all the amenities offered in nearby Savannah.

Hundreds of new homes are planned for residential communities, offering everything from walk-to-school locations and pool/tennis complexes to deep-water dock facilities.  In Bryan County, buyers will find quality yet affordable housing.  The median home value is $195,600.
