Colleges & Universities

The Savannah region boasts 18 distinguished colleges and universities with a total enrollment of nearly 60,000 students.  Programs of study include everything from manufacturing, engineering and aviation technology to certified warehousing and distribution specialist, supply chain management and marketing.  With high caliber educational opportunities in the area, our workforce continues to grow and meet the demands of existing and new industries.
 

Military Presence

Bryan County is fortunate to be home to Fort Stewart, the largest Army installation east of the Mississippi River and headquarters of the 3rd Infantry Division.  A combined total of approximately 4,500 soldiers transition out of the military at nearby Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield (HAAF) annually.  These individuals are:
