Interstate Access

With immediate access to Interstate 16 and Interstate 95, Bryan County's location is ideal for a multitude of industries.  Interstate 95 provides north-south access to major markets along the eastern seaboard while Interstate 16 runs from Savannah to Macon and offers connectivity to Interstate 75, which runs from Miami through Atlanta to the Canadian border just North of Detroit.  Not only are there two major interstates that intersect Bryan County, there are a number of major highways that run through the county as well.

Port of Savannah

The Port of Savannah, Georgia's gateway to the world and the largest single container terminal in North America, is situated less than 30 miles away from Bryan County.  As the nation's fastest growing container port, the Port of Savannah offers greater flexibility to suit customer needs, faster-to-market service, interstate connections, higher capacity and cargo diversity.  With more than 9,700 feet of contiguous berth space and over three million square feet of available warehouse space, the Port of Savannah is a key reason why the coastal region is a highly sought after area to do business.

Military Workforce

Fort Stewart, the largest Army installation east of the Mississippi River, encompasses a significant portion of Bryan County and plays a major role in the local economy.  With nearly 3,500 soldiers transitioning out of the military annually in the area, Bryan County employers have access to employees who are cross-trained, computer literate and possess a tremendous work ethic.  In addition, there are approximately 7,000 military spouses living on post at Ft. Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield, and a large number of them have a keen interest in employment. For more information on the Coastal Region's military workforce, please click here.

Industrial Product

Bryan County is home to two shovel-ready industrial parks.  Interstate Centre, with frontage on Interstate 16, offers over 500 acres remaining for development.  This Georgia Ready for Accelerated Development (GRAD) certified park sits within the service delivery area for Foreign Trade Zone No. 104 and is in a Military Zone.  Adjacent to Interstate 95, Belfast Commerce Park is GRAD certified as well and contains a site that has been certified as a CSX Select Site. Belfast Commerce Park has just over 850 acres still available for development including large rail-served sites.

Quality of Life

In Bryan County, everyone from corporate executives to production workers will find a community that is a desirable place to live and raise a family.  The county's growing population is primarily attributed to Bryan County's top performing public school system.  The student population in Bryan County Schools has grown approximately four percent each year for the past few years.  Whether you are looking for a large home site in a more rural setting, a planned neighborhood development or a multi-million dollar home with water access, you will find it all in Bryan County.
